Travel Tips: Crossing The Golden Gate Bridge

Today, I’d like to take you back to San Francisco and one of the most recognizable tourist attractions – Golden Gate Bridge. There are many reasons why I love this city, for one – THE VIEWS.  In my opinion, the city looks beautiful from up and down (see THIS post from Twin Peaks and THIS one from Marina and THIS one from all over the city), and although it didn’t seem to me in the beginning, it’s pretty small, too. Just 7 by 7 miles! Hey, if I’m able to walk everywhere I want to, count me in!

Speaking of walking, let’s not forget the one and only – Golden Gate Bridge! I have driven over the bridge a few times before, but walking is another thing. I finally got to do it last summer and I would totally recommend it to anybody! Besides beautiful views of the city from a quite different angle, you can expect three things: some exercise, lots of wind and people! Which by the way, never stopped me before from exploring. What about you?

I’m sure by now you noticed the fog rolling over the city of San Francisco. Did you know that it has a name?! Karl the Fog is quite an often visitor of the city so if you’re planning a trip here in the summer, chances are you’re going to meet him.
