How To Wear Denim On Denim

Denim on denim trend has been around for a while, but it’s just now that I decided to try it myself. Since I’m all about the monochrome looks and simplicity, putting this outfit together was a pure pleasure. In fact, this outfit has been my # 1 go-to ever since! When playing with a double denim, I think you have to be cautious not to overdo it.

RULE OF THUMB for DOUBLE DENIM

Make sure whatever you want to cover up is under a darker denim (usually your bottoms), so the lighter wash can bring attention to what you actually want to show off. Whatever you do, just don’t try to pull off that all denim Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s look. We’re not in 2001 anymore! 😉
