A few weeks ago, I shared with you guys how I finally found my blogging niche and wanted to focus on sharing more petite style approved pieces. So here I am! Today’s look is a perfect example of how to dress for your figure – better yet – I’m showing you how to do it on a tight budget!
I said it before but I’ll say it one more time – there’s plenty of ways to dress on a budget without sacrificing your style. In fact, sometimes I can’t believe myself when I score a great deal without compromising the quality of a product! The key to intentional shopping is well – browsing A LOT and WAITING. Also, looking for patterns always helps. What do I mean by that? Take notice of trends and what some of the mainstream stores carry. If you see a blogger wearing something great when no one else does, I bet you can wait a bit and/or google similar items online for cheaper!
Another solution? Always check stores such as SHEIN or Zaful as they tend to carry a wide selection of the latest trends for great prices! Sure, sometimes shopping there is a flop but 90% of the time I found pieces that turned out to be a huge hit. For more reasons why to shop there, read this post.

This cropped + twisted sweater is a perfect example of why I love shopping at Zaful. For a little over $20 I got a solid piece that’s perfect to carry into more than just one season. In fact, some of my favorite sweaters (that my friends and followers on Instagram loved as well) come from affordable stores like Zaful!
If it fits, it flatters.
When it comes to petite style, finding the right jeans can be a struggle. Since it took me a while to find jeans in a style that I wanted AND most importantly – that flattered my figure, I’m going to have to write a separate post about this journey. For now, I’m leaving you with this advice: DON’T GO TO AMERICAN EAGLE, RUN!! I have been wearing this boyfriend fit + mom jean combo for a few months now – NONSTOP. They’re that good. Oh, and they also go on sale quite a bit (see, talking about patterns again) – so if you pay attention you can score them for as little as $35. 😉
