September Bless Box Review

In partnership with Bless Box

Hi, I’m back with my monthly Bless Box review! This September turns out to be a special time for my subscription, because Sazan decided to partner up with more people – Lauren Bushnell and Giana to be exact, and curate the perfect items to take you from summer into fall!

September Bless Box is also the first delivery of Bless Gives Back, an initiative to inspire (& match) contributions from every subscriber. Be sure to check out the charity they’re sponsoring at the end of this post.

Ok, so what’s inside the September Bless Box?

September Bless Box review

True Lemon Bless Box

Retail price: $5

Lucky for me because I love everything that includes lemon! I drink my tea every morning with lemon so for those days when I don’t have it on hand, this True Lemon product will be a perfect substitute. It contains 0 sugars and calories so that’s also a plus!

Citra Green Bless Box

Retail price: $11

CitaGreen Wheatgrass Tablets seem to be packed with vitamins and minerals that support a healthy immune system. Each tablet provides 20 essential nutrients! Very excited to be adding this product to my daily self-care routine.

Yu Be moisturizing cream Bless Box

Retail price: $3.99

This Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream claims to be Japan’s soft skin secret since 1957. You can use it on hands, feet, cuticles, callused skin, face and lips, so to me sounds similar to Vaseline. I’m all for multi-use creams so and I will be sure to carry this travel-size product in my purse from today on!

Freeman mask in Bless Box

Retail price: $7.99

This Freeman Peel-Off mask must have been one of my favorite products in the box to try out, because I’ve never used a peel-off mask before! I gotta say at first I was worried that it’s not going to be easy to take it off my face, but boy was I wrong! So far I’m loving how this product works!

Bless Box September

Retail price: $5 (left) + $6.99 (right)

I find travel-sized products to be extremely useful, so I was happy to find these two in the box. I’m especially excited to try the essential oil rollerball that is supposed to help fight allergies, fatigue and over-eating. Will report back if it helped. 😉

Bless Box RealHer eye shadow palette

Retail price: $28

This RealHer Play Book shadow palette contains such pretty shades! You can definitely use it for both day and night looks. I have yet to try this product so I will be sure to come back with more details later!

On a side note, I find it applaudable that Sazan tries to include as many vegan, natural, cruelty, paraben and sulfate free products as she can in her subscription boxes. I love getting introduced to all these new brands with such strong morals!

Doucce black eyeliner

Retail price: $20

I might have to start using a pencil eyeliner just for this! Usually, I tend to go for a rather natural look but this Doucce Smudge Resistant Eyeliner will be perfect for those times when I want a statement eye.

Stila makeup Bless Box

Retail price: $22 (left) + $20 (right)

I gotta admit this is my first time trying out Stila makeup and it looks like I’ve been missing out this whole time! I love both the quality, packaging and the color of these products, so they might just become my new staples! I call it a win. 😉

Dang coconut chips Bless Box

Retail price: $3.99

Sazan likes to include something to snack on in each box and these toasted coconut chips must be my favorite yet! Not only are they delicious, they’re also vegan (+ GF, Dairy Free, Non-GMO). You can sprinkle these chips on salads, yogurt or ice cream or eat straight out of the package! Yum! Boyfriend is a fan, too. 😉

Pura Vida Bracelet

Retail price: $5

This was a sweet surprise because I’m actually a big fan of Pura Vida! If you haven’t heard of this brand before, it’s worth checking out because they support local artisans around the world. Each Pura Vida bracelet provides full-times jobs, in positive working environments, to 150+ artisans across the globe. Amazing, right?

Monthly subscription costs $29.99 + $7.50 shipping. The overall retail price of all products in the September Bless Box comes down to about $165.

This subscription box included 12 products, which is the most I’ve ever gotten in the box. Only 2 of them were travel sized.

Was the box worth it or not?

I absolutely loved the giving back initiative included in September Bless Box. Nothing better than than knowing you can contribute in a good way and help better somebody’s life. When it comes to the products, this box was full of nice surprises that I’ve never tried before (e.g. peel-off mask, essential oil, Japan’s beauty).

It’s always been a dream of Sazan’s for Bless to give back, so for her first charity she decided to feature Vista Del Mar. This incredible non-profit does amazing work in providing much needed wellness, educational and therapeutic services to families.

If you’d like to get involved, Sazan committed to match donations made by all members. It’s easy to get started! Just follow these 3 steps.

1. Head to blessbox.com/lauren
2. Click DONATE on the bottom of the page
3. Select Tribute, and under Honoree or Message, mention Bless Box.
