I may have been blogging about fashion for 4 years now, but it doesn’t mean that my message has changed. Every single day I aspire to bring you affordable fashion and style ideas because let’s be honest… Why spend a lot of money when you can look expensive without breaking the bank?
If there is one thing that I want you to take away from this space, is that fashion is for everybody and that it doesn’t have to cost much at all. Most of the times when I get asked about what I’m wearing, I get surprising responses because of how affordable everything can be. Yes, every once in a while you might have to compromise quality in order to save some money, but that’s not always the case.
HOW TO LOOK EXPENSIVE WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK
In today’s post, I’m sharing yet another Tobi look (see previous ones here and here), but this time in a more sophisticated edition. Would you believe this entire outfit cost under $100?! Yes, it can be done! Scroll down for details on each item and see how I saved all that money!
THE “IT” BAG?
Whether you come here often or you’re new to my blog, I always want you to feel like you can relate to what you’re reading and seeing. Especially, when it comes to personal style and shopping. While I wish one day I will be able to afford a Chanel bag (or at least not feel bad about spending so much money on a purse), as of now I still remain searching for more affordable options.
As you probably already noticed, the bag featured in today’s post is a total Chanel knock off. Some may think it’s a crime to wear fake bags like that, but I don’t mind. After all, I’m not trying to pretend that it’s a real deal! The only deal you’ll see here is that it cost me less than $30. Not bad, huh?
PRO TIP #1: SHOP AT MARSHALLS
Marshalls has always been one of my favorite stores and I have no shame admitting it! Lately, they have been doing a great job adding great quality brands like Free People or Blank NYC (the IT suede moto jacket, anyone?), plus their shoe section is always on point! I scored these Sam Edelman studded heels for only $40! And I’ve seen they go for $85-$170 at other places…
PRO TIP #2: SHOP AT TOBI
Tobi is one of those online destinations where you can be sure to find the latest trends at a much affordable price point. If you want to score a dress like the one I shared today (now for just $13, originally $68!), you might want to wait a little bit until it goes on sale. From what I’ve seen, Tobi loves a good bargain and it sure does make us customers love it even more!
