My Favorite Purchases of the Year

2019 sure was a good year for us. Between getting married (again) and buying our first home, it’s safe to say it was a year to remember. Now that the holiday frenzy is over and we’re so close to finishing up this decade (OMG), I thought it would be a good idea to put together a list of my favorite purchases in 2019…

Since I blog about all things lifestyle, I decided to break up my list to fashion, home, beauty and wedding sections. Please let me know if you see any of your favorites here!

FAVORITE FASHION PURCHASES OF 2019

Something that I’ve been wearing to death this past year are definitely my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE jeans from American Eagle. They’re perfectly distressed, soft, comfortable and they come in petite/tall/regular lengths which is always a win.

This turtleneck bodysuit from Target is my recent purchase and I’m already planning on buying it in more colors! It’s so soft and works perfectly with any high-waisted jeans or under some dresses.

FAVORITE HOME PURCHASES of 2019

As you already know, another big milestone we were able to reach in 2019 was buying our first home! That means we also made lots of home purchases in the fourth quarter… We also received some amazing wedding gifts from our registry that quickly became our everyday staples.

This entire Bistro collection from Anthropologie is all over our kitchen and for a very good reason. We love the fun tile pattern and the quality of the plates and dishes so far proves to be excellent. Every time we have guests over or whenever I share sneak peeks of these dishes on my Instagram, we always have a ton of compliments flooding in!

I’ve been eyeing this West Elm console table for months until I finally decided to pull the trigger. The simple, modern design along with the perfect little brass detail fits in perfectly in our new living room!

FAVORITE BEAUTY PURCHASES OF 2019

This year, I stuck to some of my beauty staples that I’ve been loving for years but I also got to introduce some new products to my skincare routine. For example, these Isle of Paradise self-tanning drops! I got them right before my bachelorette trip to Palm Springs and let’s just say these magic drops turned my pale complexion to desert ready overnight!

I’ve been also very loyal to this Laura Mercier translucent powder. Some more advanced beauty experts like to use it for baking aka setting your products for an even, flawless complexion. I’m more straightforward and just use it all over my face after applying my tinted moisturizer. It works like a charm especially in those extra oily spots!

FAVORITE PURCHASES FOR THE WEDDING

This year, a lot of my purchases evolved around the wedding. I guess you can say I went a little crazy trying to find those perfect white dresses that will not only work for our important festivities, but they would be something that I can re-wear for the years to come. This ASOS dress happened to be my best purchase of the year and something that you guys seemed to love as well! It’s one of my best-selling items ever and I’m not surprised. This dress is so flattering and it always gets so many compliments!

The second favorite purchase of the year must be, my wedding dress! Duh. 😉 Go to this post if you’d like to see how I said YES!
