Another cold day on the East Coast. One snow storm after another. I even stopped wondering when will it all end. And since I’m not doing much traveling lately due to inclement weather, I thought today I’ll share with you some moments from my last year’s weekend Boston trip.
It was February 2013, President’s Day weekend, and just how it’s Friday today, I was about to leave to catch a (Mega)bus to Boston. It was my first time in the city, and for a person who knows American History well enough (I got my Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies back in Poland), I was elated. At the time, I didn’t care for the weather, but as you can imagine, it was as cold as it is now.
So much for an introduction, take a look yourself below.
The Old State House and the Site of the 1770 Boston Massacre.
This is where ‘destruction of the tea’ took place.
Wearing: H&M jacket and sweater, Forever 21 pants and shoes.
As an American Studies graduate, I was pretty excited to find another place we talked about in the class.
Little cozy diner established in 1940 and located in Somerville, Mass., was a prefect shelter for that freezing evening. I heard it’s closed now.
Don’t let the sun fool you… It was freezing that day!
PL: W dzisiejszej notce chcialam sie z Wami podzielic kilkoma wspomnieniami z mojej ubieglorocznej, weekendowej wycieczki do Bostonu.
xoxo,
Paulina
